I am a passionate educator in my 38th year of building learning environments that inspire. Currently serving as the Director of Innovation and Career Pathways for Olathe Public Schools, I get the privilege of overseeing our district's incredible Two- and Four-Year Academies.My leadership journey has taken me through almost every corner of a school district—from a decade spent growing the e-Communication program at Olathe Northwest and serving as a District Technology Director, to the foundational 5 years I spent as a middle school administrator. I’m a proud Husker (undergrad) with master's degrees from Pittsburg State and Baker University. In 2009, I was honored to be named an Apple Distinguished Educator. I operate on a simple core belief: schools should be a safe harbor for curiosity, exploration, and the productive risk-taking that helps both teachers and students find their true calling.
