Starting with the graduating Class of 2028, the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) has officially shifted the graduation landscape. The state is moving away from simply counting seat-time credits and moving toward proving that students have Postsecondary Assets and real-world skills. The new framework is often referred to as the 21-Credit Foundation (Olathe requires 24 total credits) This session will concentrate on Postsecondary Assets, what qualifies, how they are recorded, who is responsible for tracking, how a student and parent can check, etc....
