In this collaborative session, teachers will revisit key principles of Differentiated Reading Instruction (DRI) and reflect on how these practices are showing up in their classrooms. Participants will engage in meaningful discussion to process successes, challenges, and student outcomes, while reconnecting with essential strategies that support diverse readers. Teachers will also have the opportunity to explore instructional texts and consider how to best match them to student needs. The session includes dedicated planning time to refine small group instruction, align upcoming lessons, and leave with practical next steps. Through collaboration and shared insight, teachers will strengthen their DRI practice and continue building impactful, responsive reading instruction for all students.
*If you have specific texts in mind that you would love to explore and plan with, please feel free to bring them with you!
Please bring your Olathe Differentiated Reading Instruction (DRI) booklet that you received during district professional learning in February.
